Chucks 63 · Bradford 14
Punxsutawney opened the 2026 season at home with a 63–14 victory over Bradford, scoring 56 points before halftime. Zach Blews contributed two rushing touchdowns and an interception return for a score. Ian Leseman ran for two touchdowns, while Teeg Hetrick threw touchdown passes to Maxwell Roberts, Jaden Greenblatt, and Max Presloid. Phoenix Johnston also scored on a 42-yard run.

Chucks 49 · Brookville 0
The Chucks improved to 2–0 with a 49–0 road win at Brookville, retaining the Route 36 Trophy. Punxsutawney led 21–0 at halftime and held the Raiders to 52 total yards. Zach Blews rushed for 155 yards and three touchdowns. Max Presloid added three touchdown catches and threw a scoring pass to Luke Grusky. Teeg Hetrick finished with three touchdown passes.

The August 28 home game against Bradford celebrated the 35th anniversary of the 1991–92 district championship season. The commemorative game program recalls the Chucks’ 28–7 Quad A championship win and Gary Juart becoming Punxsy football’s winningest coach.
